Lviv Palace of Arts - one of the largest galleries in Ukraine. Opened in 1996. Sizes 12 exhibition halls, from 60 square meters. to 780 meters, located on four levels.
Since the first exhibition dedicated to opening, the Palace of Arts has chosen orientation between contemporary art and fan art environment, to ensure that represent the broad public viewers search for and achievement of contemporary art, to develop creative connections between regions of Ukraine, to promote creative potential of the city, a bridge of integration into the European artistic community.
The facade of the building is decorated with symbolic high relief depicting St. Bows (sculptors Krvavich D., M. Posikira, L. Yaremchuk).
In the Palace of Arts held regular art events: Lviv Autumn Salon "High Castle" ; Drawing Contest "Spring mood" ;exhibition of Lviv's artists in the field related to Taras Shevchenko and the annual exhibition of works by their results to Shevchenko's days "love your Ukraine .... "Based on the works and documents donated by the Lviv Palace of Arts, is constantly operating room-museum of Taras Shevchenko.
In the exhibition halls exhibited works, as yet unknown representatives of different art schools in Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, students of Lviv National Academy of Arts and Lviv college of arts and crafts, and recognized in Ukraine and worldwide artists.
